Abstract

The study starts with the basic theory of pore pressure prediction before, while, and after drilling. The workflow of prediction is explained. Further, the brief information regarding the field, available data, and limitation are shown. Then, it focuses on pore, fracture, and overburden pressure calculation after drilling by combining drilling and well logging data analysis. The analysis of well logging, mud log, geological, and drilling events (drilling problems, gas peaks, etc) are shown graphically. Lastly, the comparison of pore pressure estimation (before (seismic), during, and after drilling), results, and conclusions are shown.
